WHICH TYPE OF HOUSEPLANTS
 
There are so many different types of house plants that you can pick from to bring into your home. You may just want a house plant to decorate the room or maybe you want to find a plant that will brighten your room and bring in some oxygen. Whatever your reasons are, you will want to think about the type of plant to bring into your home.

If you are just starting out with house plants, you may want to go with something that doesn't require to much care and attention. Also, you can choose easy to care for plants if you have a busy life, but still want you house to feel homely.
 
Easy house plants to care for include Cactus, Ivy, Shamrocks and, Ferns. Cactus can actually go along time without ever being watered. There many variations of cactus and some of them will bloom flowers.

However, if you want something to look more appealing, you will want to consider any plant that is considered greenery. Green plants such as ivy or ferns have no problem in adapting to the environment and don't need much attention. Ivy is special because it if a climber. Try adding Ivy in a hanging basket and allow it to grow to the floor to add some dramatic twists to your home. Shamrocks are ideal because you can literally ignore them and they will still bloom.

If you have the time to truly care for your house plants, why not go tropical. You will have a lot of responsibilities, as some tropical plants are finicky. They will need to place in an area that has direct sunlight and the perfect temperature at all times. These aren't the type of house plants to have in your home if you have a cold winter.

Examples of tropical plants are Orchids, Birds of Paradise, Ginger, Rubber Trees, and Palm Trees. Although they will look great, you may not realize the environment that tropical plants need to survive when you purchase them. Take advice from the dealer regarding the care needed and what you should do to keep them in bright colours.

When looking for a house plant you may want one that can be useful, such as herbs or aloe vera. Aloe vera is a wonderful plant due to the fact that if can be used to treat burns and cuts. To use the plant, all you need to do is break a little piece off and then squeeze the sap onto the burn or cut. You can place them on the porch during the summer season, but keep inside during the colder weather.

Some house plants that are on the market are, in fact poisonous. Make sure that you look up all your houseplants when you have children or pets in your home. Hyacinth, Anthurium, Dumbcane, and Oleander are among the poisonous plants on the list.
